Prep and Cook time: 10 minutes
Makes: 24 (2-inch) squares.
Here's a terrific twist on marshmallow squares that will be a welcome addition to your cookie repertoire. They are great keepers and travel well, too.
Ingredients
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter
2 cups mini marshmallows
1 cup white chocolate chips
3 tablespoons milk
1 box (14 oz.) Cinnamon Crunch Cereal
1 1/2 cups dry roasted peanuts
Instructions
1. Line a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with heavy foil, letting it extend 2
to 3-inches over the rim of pan. Grease the foil with non-stick spray.
2. In a 4 quart saucepan over low heat, stir butter, marshmallows, chips
and milk until melted and smooth. Stir in Cinni-Mini Cereal and peanuts.
Stir until well coated.
3. Pour into prepared pan, spreading evenly. Let set until firm.
4. Remove from pan by pulling up on foil. Place on cutting board and cut
into squares.
